Feed the Monkey is a fun activity to teach the Arabic alphabet and numbers.
To Play:
1. Lay out all the alphabet banana chips.
2. Have the child begin with the banana chip that says, “What should monkey say before he eats? “ (Bismillah)
3. Then ask the child to feed the monkey one letter at a time as they say the name of each letter. Assist when necessary. *Alternately, you can say the name of a letter then have the child find the letter and feed it to the monkey.
4. You may start with just 5 letters and add more letters as the child learns.
5. Have the child end with, “What should monkey say after he eats?” (Alhamdulilah)
6. This is also a fun activity to play with two or more children.
Insha-Allah this activity will help teach the arabic alphabet and the Islamic etiquette of eating!
